Here are some spoilers from the latest Erin Hunter Chat!
1. The Fourth Apprentice
Dovekit is the fourth apprentice AND the true third cat in the prophecy. They are the same thing. Ivykit is noted not to be pleased at this. Vicky also stated that "She'll be pretty miffed that her sister is getting all the attention." The Omen of the Stars series will have Four POVS. Jayfeather's, Lionblaze's, Dovekit's AND Ivykit's.
2. The Beavers
The Beavers will start causing problems in The Fourth Apprentice(Oots 1) They will build a dam upstream, draining the lake. Leopardstar finally loses her last life in Fading Echoes(Oots 2) Mistystar takes over as leader and appoints Reedwhisker as deputy.
3. Lionblazes Mate
Vicky noted that Lionblaze WILL have a mate. She said that we will get some hints about it in Fading Echoes(Oots 2)
4. New Names
Tigerpaw, Tawnypelt's kit, will now be known as Tigerheart.
Foxpaw and Icepaw will now be known as Foxleap and Icecloud
5. Other
Toadkit will not be a medicine cat apprentice
Leopardstar loved Tigerstar.
